Сюжетная линия: выявление основных повествовательных структур посредством анализа текста

Резюме: Ученые, проводящие исследования в различных научных областях, уже давно спорят о существовании общей структуры, лежащей в основе повествований. С помощью методов компьютерного анализа языка произведено измерение нескольких структурных и психологических категорий языка примерно в 40000 традиционных повествованиях (например, романах и сценариях фильмов) и в около 20000 нетрадиционных повествованиях (научных репортажах в газетных статьях, выступлениях на платформе TED и заключениях Верховного суда). В традиционных повествованиях отмечается последовательная структура, лежащая в основе сюжета, которая выявила три основных процесса: постановку, развитие сюжета и когнитивное напряжение. Никаких доказательств, указывающих на то, что приверженность нормативным структурам сюжета связана с популярностью истории, не появилось. Наконец, анализ текстов, основанных на фактах, выявил структуры, которые отличались от повествований, организованных в соответствии с художественным вымыслом.
